Harmony House 1

What started as the United Way’s Day of Caring in August 2015 turned into a complete overhaul of a single family home owned by the Harmony House. Our agency was present for the Day of Caring which turned into connecting the Harmony House with the Building Industry Agency. From October – March numerous volunteers, including Rinehart Insurance, worked tirelessly to completely redo the 560 square foot home that is now Ed’s place. This home will house a family for up to 60 days and provide extra storage in the garage for the Harmony House.

The house needed a good amount of work and TLC but all the hard work is evident in the finished product. This home is beautiful and will hopefully serve many families in their time of need for years to come. We are so proud to have not only been part of this project, but to have been there from day 1 and even helped this great idea become a reality.

If you didn’t have a chance to stop by the open house, visit our Facebook page or this Richland Source article for some pictures of the finished project.
